What is an EagleOne Card?

The EagleOne card contains your Meal Plan information (Mealsand Flex Dollar balances) and must be presented to Campus Dining cashiers when you wish to use Meals, Flex, or EagleOne Dollars to pay for purchases in our dining facilities.EagleOne Cards are for the use of the card owner only! It is an honor code violation to lend your card to another person or use another person’s card. You may useguest meals, Flex, EagleOne, cash or credit to purchase meals for your friends. Your regular meals are for your use only.

How do I use my "meals"?

Give your EagleOne Card to the dining cashier.  Your meal and any additional Flex or EagleOne charges will be deducted from your account when the cashier rings in your purchase.  Each meal plan allows you to use up to five of your meals for guests during the semester.  Please let your dining cashier know before making your purchase if you plan to use a Guest Meal.  Once you have used your Guest Meals you may use Flex, EagleOne, cash, checks, or credit to purchase meals for friends and family.

What are Flex Dollars?

Flex Dollars are included with every campus meal plan and maybe used like cash in any dining facility. Flex Dollar purchases are not subject to tax. Flex Dollars may only be used in Campus Dining facilities (i.e. they are not acceptedby other UMW retail operations or by UMW Merchant Partners). If you have unused Flex Dollars at the end of the fall term they will roll over to the spring term. Any FlexDollars left at the end of the spring term will be forfeited.

What Are EagleOne Dollars?

If you choose to deposit funds into an EagleOne accountyour EagleOne Card will also serve as a debit card. Funds deposited into your debit account are called EagleOne Dollars, and you may use them to purchase food inCampus Dining Facilities or to make purchases from other UMW retail operations or UMW Merchant Partners. You may deposit funds in your EagleOne account by

going to the University website and clicking on the EagleOne icon, or by visiting the EagleOne Card Office in Room 110 of Lee Hall. EagleOne purchases are subject totax. EagleOne Dollars remain in your account during your entire college experience. Funds carry forward semester-to-semester and year-to-year. Where can I get assistance if I have special dietary needs?

Special Dietary concerns should be addressed with our Executive Chef Andreas Ortner. How can I change my meal plan?

You may only change your meal plan during the first two weeks of each semester.  To make meal plan changes, visit http://students.umw.edu/residencelife/mealplan

Where can I get nutritional information about the food?

Resident dining menus are posted on the "menu" page of the dining web site (www.umwdining.com).  Click on any menu item listed and nutritional information will pop up.  You may also get menu and nutritional information through our free smart phone app, BITE by Sodexo, available on the app store and Google Play.  Search BITE by Sodexo and then use access code C6LX2.
